DESCRIPTION:The annual Japanese American community Pilgrimage to Amache Nat
	ional Historic Site is a special time for Amache descendants. The Pilgrima
	ge is a time to commemorate and honor their ancestors that were wrongly im
	prisoned here during World War II.\n\nPilgrimage is an important opportuni
	ty for community building and learning. Some Amache descendants who attend
	 pilgrimage are learning about their family history for the first time. Ma
	ny have never talked with their families or loved ones about camp. For oth
	ers\, attending pilgrimage is an annual tradition. Regardless of level of 
	experience or knowledge\, attending pilgrimage is a meaningful\, joyful\, 
	and challenging experience of community and memory.\n\nFee info: Overall c
	ost of the pilgrimage is free. Some things within the event may require a 
	donation or cost.\n\nRegistration: Reservations are not required but are r
	ecommended\, especially if you wish to do a tour of your family's block.\n
